organizing 40 Annual International Conference on 27 November, 2022. It clearly manifests the way Dubai

Chapter has comported themselves with consistency and discipline in these past 40 years in serving the
Chartered Accountant Community in Dubai and around the world.
Dubai Chapter in its Ruby Year has crossed a huge milestone of having 3,000 active members and with such
power, bears the humungous responsibility of finding new ways of serving the needs of this huge diversified
community.
Dubai Chapter, one of the oldest chapters of ICAI, with more than four decades of service to the alma mater
and gaining strength year by year with the tireless efforts of its leaders and members. It is exciting to see the
new technological initiatives taken by the Dubai Chapter to ease the access to knowledge and continuously
fulfill the objectives towards the Chartered Accountant diaspora. The theme ‘Connect to Impact’ is a very apt
one wherein the Dubai Chapter, which in the spirit of Dubai, is striving to connect its members with the
knowledge leaders on the global arena to create an impact which will reverberate across the world.
Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) Chapter was established in January 2015 and has strived to serve the CA
community in Tanzania through regular CPD events, Annual Conferences, Family Events and other
activities. An MOU with the Tanzania Accounting Body – National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA)
CA Binu Paul has been entered into with an objective to exchange knowledge and build capacity.

Tanzania Chapter of ICAI Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) Chapter also will be conducting its 7 Annual International Conference on
03-December-2022 in Virtual Mode on the theme – Digital Africa - and extend a warm welcome to attend the
conference.

It is a great pleasure to know that the ICAI Dubai Chapter is organising its 40 Annual International

Conference on November 27, 2022. with the theme “Connect to Impact”. The Dubai Chapter has been a
frontrunner in curating world class events dedicated to the benefit of its members. The quality of the
programmes has been witnessed and appreciated sans frontiers.
The recent pandemic has taught us to eveolve and adapt at a much faster pace. To be future-ready, the CA
profession has been re-inventing and upgrading itself in tune with the challenges of the dynamism of global
economy. In such an interrelatedarena, creating and turturing connection at various levels, underpins
thesuccess of business of services.
This theme of the Annual Seminar of the institute of Chartered Accountants of India - Dubai Chapter is very
apt. The quick shift in gears, ushered by the recent unique situation has emphasised for need of better
collaboration and synergies. Technology enabled remote connectivity has served as a lifeline in the crisis
confronted by the world. In such a small window, the world has witnessed various inventions which were
swiftly put to effective use envisaging survival while making a paradign shift in business environtment.
CA Harsha Vardhan Singh Adaptability and innovation have become the key to the success of any business or service operating in such
Chairman, competitiveness.

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to physically make to the event. I thank the Dubai team for inviting the
Melbourne Chapter and wish yourselves and entire team for the success of this Annual International
