It feels so proud that we are celebrating 40th Year since inception of our chapter. This
journey has seen many senior members putting time and efforts in developing the
chapter to where we stand today and I am sure this journey will continue on its path to
excellence. Being a Chartered Accountant is a great feeling in itself and being part of
this chapter is an immense sense of satisfaction.
In my view, what stands out for our chapter is its achievement in acting as a leader in
its industry, so when it comes to any new laws or regulations or updates or new trends
that are linked to our profession, we are always first to act. My heartfelt congratulations
to our chairman and our entire managing committee for taking new initiatives and
working tirelessly for betterment of our profession.

It gives me great pleasure to contribute and be part of this prestigious 40th Annual
International Conference organized by the ICAI Dubai Chapter, with an extraordinary
theme “Connect 2 Impact-Lead, Innovate, Inspire”. The theme in itself reflects the
exemplary vision and commitment of the chapter to break free from the pandemic era
and to bring the professional community together to connect, share and allow
businesses the opportunity to witness the power of networking post pandemic, like
never before. This phase has forced professionals in all spheres to imagine and
innovate and bring change in their processes and the way one does business. Today
sustainability should be a way of business living, it must contain an approach that
creates long lasting value to businesses amidst the ever changing socio-economic and
ecological environment. Technology play a significant role in supporting professionals
with their objectives and it is necessary for each one of us to break the traditional
methodologies and embrace a new way of working. This is how leaders are born to
inspire others to think like the way they do.

The speakers invited for the event are undoubtedly winners in their field and it is our
privilege to hear their success stories. I wish each member and participants an eventful
and awe inspiring experience at the conference.
