He started his presentation with the theme “India- A Startups Nation” and he
took us through how India is coming out as a major player in digitalization
which is also evidenced from the fact that highest number of trademark
registrations is currently coming out of India. He further mentioned that we
are currently in the age of “Digital Revolution” and India is coming out as a
dominant power.
He shared with us that currently India has the lowest cost of data
management in the whole world which was mainly due to increase in
broadband reach and data usage. He expects that the Startup Ecosystem will
help India create a US$ 10 Trillion economy by 2032 as currently India is the
3rd largest startup ecosystem in the whole world. He shared that during the
period 2014-20 about US$ 708 Billion were raised by the startups in India.
