Celebration of 74th Independence Day of India – 15 August 2020
ICAI Dubai celebrated 74th Independence Day of India on 15 August 2020 with show host and
performer Ms. Shobhana Chandramohan. There was Hasya and Veer Ras Kavi Sammelan performance
by Mr. Aashish Anal, Mr. Manjeet Singh and Dr. Suresh Awasthi. The celebration was also graced
by the presence of H.E. Dr. Aman Puri, Consul General of India to Dubai. The celebration was filled
with musical performance, quiz, lucky draw and fun activities which were undeniably enjoyed by the
members and their families.

Understanding IFRS - IFRS Knowledge Check Quiz – Part 1
– 5 September 2020

Another interesting session on IFRS was held for ICAI Dubai members and led by Game Masters – CA
Abbas Ali Mirza, Past Chairman, ICAI Dubai Chapter, CA Ashok Mehngi, Vice President – Finance,
GEMS Education and CA Anish Mehta, Chairman, ICAI Dubai Chapter. Members of the chapteractively
participated the quiz session which seemed to be like an IFRS refresher to them. CPE: 2 Hours
