Dear Members,

I am extremely delighted to share the recap of our recently concluded 39 Annual International
th
Conference, held at Coca Cola Arena, Dubai-UAE, on 26 June 2021 under the theme RESKILL &
THRIVE.

As said by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of UAE
and Ruler of Dubai “The word impossible is not in the leaders dictionary. No matter how big the
challenge is, strong faith, determination and resolve will overcome them”. This conference is an
apt example of the statement, as it had been meticulously planned and executed within the
shortest span of time, in less than two weeks to be precise, thereby creating a record in the 39
years of history of ICAI Dubai Chapter.

The day was filled with inspirational talk by high profile dignitaries, motivational talk by Shri
Gaur Gopal Das, cultural dance/singing performances to celebrate the Year of Fiftieth of UAE
and welcoming India’s 75th Independence Anniversary and concluded with a Live Concert by
the renowned performer Guru Randhawa.

We were honored to have H.E. Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign
Trade, UAE as our Chief Guest for the conference, which shows the trust and recognition we
Chartered Accountants receive in this great country.

I would like to take this occasion to thank our Guests of Honor, H.E. Pavan Kapoor –
Ambassador of India, CA. Nihar Jambusaria – President of ICAI, CA. (Dr.) Debashis Mitra –
Vice President of ICAI, Mr. Vasu Shroff – chairman of Regal Group of companies and our
keynote speaker Padma Shri awardee CA. T.V. Mohandas Pai, and other dignitaries and
delegates who attended this conference.
