• IFRS 16 - Leases – 26 November 2019
IFRS – 16 Leases was the first session organized by IFRS & Audit Focus group and
was facilitated by CA Ashok Mehngi, Vice President - Finance, GEMS Education
and CA Abhishek Agarwal, Group Finance Reporting Manager, Expro Overseas
Inc. CA Sundar Nurani, Team Leader of this group with the support of CA Anurag
Chaturvedi, welcomed the 43 participants of the session.

• Practical Approach to IFRS 16 & Audit Opinions – 8 January 2020
The second session of IFRS & Audit group attended by 49 members who had a
discussion on “Practical Approach to IFRS 16 & Audit Opinions” by CA Baasab
Deyb, Partner, RSM UAE and “Audit Opinions” by CA Anish Mehta, Chairman, ICAI
Dubai Chapter NPIO.
