2019-20 Event Speakers’ Messages
Dubai ICAI Chapter is the largest ICAI Chapter in the world.
The level of professional activity conducted by the chapter is
unprecedented and makes it one of the most active chapters
among all institutions in Dubai. Chapter has not only served its
members to keep their knowledge up to date but also has brought
tremendous awareness and governance to the entire Emirate.
The role played by the chapter and its members in successful and
smooth implementation of VAT in Dubai couple of years ago is a
great example of how the members not only helped the authorities
to frame the law, implement a complex process and simultaneously
help registered customers to adopt to this new practice. Members
of ICAI Dubai have established a great reputation in the Emirate
in creating appropriate governance model in line with expectation

Mr. Kamal Gupta the chapter. Its theme “Leading with Passion – The Best from the
Rest” goes hand in hand with the character of the chapter where
Chairman, KMAP Capital members have always led the profession with passion, hard work
and commitment creating a reputation both for the chapter and its
members. I wish the ICAI Dubai chapter, a very best not only for this
event but also many glorious years to come and scale new heights.
From the day I joined ICAI Dubai chapter, I developed a passion for
learning. I learned to chase my passion and not my pension. I must
congratulate all the committee members for their passion to not
only raise the bar every year but also win the Best Overseas chapter
award.
