My legal practice focuses on defending professional
negligence claims against auditors and audit firms before
the UAE Courts. In my experience, it is important to not only
lead with passion about the quality of your work to avoid
the risk of litigation; but to lead with passion in all aspects of
your personal life to ensure your mental well-being and to
avoid the risk of your work suffering from burn-out. The ICAI
Chapter provides valuable support to its members in their
continued professional and personal development allowing
Mr. John Lewis them to lead the charge in achieving their full, and best, all-
round potential.

The difference between “a good” and “a very good”
professional is implementation and implementation is a
result of skill and repeated attempts enhance a skill and
the persistent effort to keep on doing repeated attempts is
because of the passion a person may have!
The way to keep our passion alive is asking these three
questions to ourselves.
1. Are we self-starter?
Prof. Samish Dalal 2. Are we doing anything which can enhance our skill?
3. Are we ready to take up new tasks / challenges?
TED Speaker | Associate If the answer to all the above questions is yes, then we are
Professor & Administrator, passionate enough and have the potentiality to differentiate
Global PMB Program, from the rest.
