“The year 2020 brought forward an unprecedented crisis which
none of us had ever witnessed before. However, it also reaffirmed
that only by truly believing in your cause, persevering against all
odds, and fast adaptability to the needs of your customers, can you
help your organisation survive during a crisis. For many like us,
the pandemic shook us to the core, tested our mettle and yet we
could utilise it as an opportunity to fast-track our development.
We expect that many of the customer behaviours set
forth by New Normal living will continue to drive market
forces, with digitisation and use of technology playing
a key role. Each and every business, irrespective of the
industry, will need to prioritise fast adaptation as per
consumer needs and keep innovative thinking at its core.
As we enter into 2021, my advise for all fellow entrepreneurs
and business leaders would be to set a long-term vision for your
organisation which is based on sustainability and shared values
with your people, consumers and community and enable the
right levers required to turn your vision into reality.”
