Dear Participants of the 42nd Annual International Conference of ICAI Dubai Chapter

It is with great pleasure that I extend my heartfelt greetings to all participants and delegates of the
ICAI Dubai Chapter’s 42nd Annual International Conference. This year’s theme, “Envisage –
Profession, Bharat & World Economy”, resonates deeply as it calls for a forward-thinking
approach towards the future of our profession, the growth of Bharat (India), and its critical role in
the global economy.

As Chartered Accountants, we are the custodians of integrity, financial transparency, and
accountability. This conference offers an invaluable opportunity to reflect on the evolving
dynamics of our profession and discuss the pivotal role we play in shaping the economic
landscape—both in India and around the world. In the face of unprecedented challenges, the
profession’s resilience and adaptability remain essential as we navigate complex economic
scenarios.

The theme of “Envisage” underscores the need to adapt to new realities, seize emerging
opportunities, and strengthen the bridges between Bharat and the global economic community.
The collaborative efforts and insights shared at this event will be instrumental in charting a path
