It is heartening to note that the Dubai Chapter of ICAI is organizing its 40th Annual International
Conference on the theme “Connecting for Impact - Lead, Innovate and Inspire” on November
27, 2022. E orts taken by the Chapter in developing the professional opportunities and providing
a platform for networking for Indian Chartered Accountants in Dubai are noteworthy.

The theme chosen is a very apt one. Today we are living in an environment of globalization,
intense competition and rapid technological changes added with digital transformation. Need of
the hour is to be continuously updated and be upskilled thereby unleashing our true potential as
professionals.

The ability to adapt to change is one of the most important attributes that our members would
need in this time of uncertainty. We, at ICAI, always strive to improve the full potential of our
members by undertaking regular capacity building initiatives to keep them up to date to face all
challenges. I am con dent that our members would continue to make their mark globally in the
challenging environment.

I compliment the entire Management Committee of Dubai Chapter of ICAI for all the initiatives
taken for the betterment of the profession and wish the Chapter the very best for its future
endeavours.
