World of IFRS. Keeping the need of master classes for Focus group members, Ex-com also
organized various master classes on Transfer Pricing, Custom GPT, Financial Statement in
Compliance with Corporate Tax, etc. The quarter was also marked with celebration of our
Country’s Independence Day. For the first time in the history of the Chapter, we added
a live play on stage from the national fame artists from India on Freedom Fighters, Ms.
Neha Dhupia, Actress and Former Miss India, as well as Padmashri and Arjuna Awardee
Ms. Anjum Chopra, Former Cricketer had delivered very interesting motivational speech.

Keeping in line with the evolving subject of Corporate Tax in UAE, we have organized
events of UAE Corporate Tax covering key matters and important updates on 8th
September, 2024, which was addressed by various experts of the field. The quarter
was also having complete holiday period of July and August in UAE, schools in general,
we appreciate the enthusiastic participation by the members during this period.

In continuation of our efforts to get our professional degree approved and include ICAI in
the list of approved accounting bodies, the undersigned paid visit to ICAI, New Delhi Head

Vice President CA C.S. Nanda ji as well as Mr. Nitin Jain, International Affair in Charge and

the issues independently as well as at government levels.
With great pleasure we are presenting you the Second Quarterly Newsletter for the
Year 2024-25 covering July-August period. As usual, the quarterly news letter provide We also started working on Annual International Conference planned to be on 14-15

In the month of July, the new Government of India, third time led by Prime Minister CA Rajesh Somani
